- Ride in a single file, staggered formation
- Pass other traffic only when safe to do so
- If you wish to pass another rider in your group, please do so on the outside only, and only when safe to do so in a legal passing zone.
- Use hand signals in advance of turns
- Use foot signals to communicate to riders behind you if there is a potential hazard in the road (road kill, debris, etc.)
- Wait at intersections and stop signs for your group to re-form
- If you are not comfortable with the pace of your group, drop out and ride alone or join another group.
